The police apologize for the alleged video concealment and are speeding up the investigation of the fact-finding team.

However, inside and outside the police, it is pointed out that “if there was evidence video at the time, it was possible to apply the special price law.”

This is why the police hurriedly conduct a joint fact-finding investigation over the suspicion that the investigator in charge checked the black box video and covered it.

The head of the National Investigation Headquarters explained that “there was no black box video” last month, but it turned out that some of it was not true, and said that he apologized to the public.

The investigation team is looking into whether the team leader, manager, and chief have not even received oral reports, and whether there has been any external pressure on the investigation.

In particular, on November 11, last year, when the investigator in charge confirmed the existence of the video, the second summons investigation was conducted and the reason for not reporting it is also questioning.

Police officials added that the matter is re-investigating from the perspective of the prosecution as it is serious.
