[사회]Will’Judicial Nongdan 6 consecutive innocence’ be broken?…

[앵커]

The seventh sentence will be held this week against former and current high-ranking judges accused of being involved in the judicial Nongdan as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Yang Seung-tae.

In the previous six sentences, all were concluded as innocent, but this time, attention is focused on whether it will be different.

In the days of Supreme Court Chief Yang Seung-tae, the reality of the judicial Nongdan was revealed extensively and concretely in the last 2018 investigation by a special investigation team on allegations of abuse of judicial administration.

In order to obtain the cooperation of the Park Geun-hye administration for the introduction of the Appeals Court, which is a long-awaited project, the Judiciary Seung-Tae Yang unfairly intervened in the activities of certain academic organizations in the court, including the circumstances in which the Park Geun-hye government tried to engage in various trials such as compensation for damages for victims of forced conscription, or the self-governing activities of judges at each level. It was revealed that he had inspected and grasped the propensity of judges.

Since then, 14 former and incumbent judges, including former Supreme Court chiefs, have been prosecuted in a row, and four of them, including Lee Min-geol, Lee Gyu-jin, Bang Chang-hyun, and Shim Sang-cheol, will be sentenced this week.

They are accused of intervening in administrative litigation by former United Progressive Party lawmakers or divulging the results of the sentence by conspiring with the Supreme Court’s chief executives, including both former Supreme Court chiefs. I have been asking for it.

Since then, the court decided on the date of election and postponed it twice, saying that it took time to review the records and write the judgment.

However, it is unclear whether they will be convicted of the sentence of first instance the day after tomorrow.

Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Hae-Yong Hae-yong and Judges Shin Gwang-ryul, Jo Eui-yeon, and Seong Chang-ho were convicted of innocence in the first and second trials.

The reason was that there was insufficient evidence or that the law could not be charged with abuse of authority.

Former Judge Im Seong-geun, who was impeached for the first time in the history of the constitution as a judge for intervening in the so-called’Sewol 7 Hours’ trial, was also acquitted at the first trial, saying that ex officio abuse could not be applied.

For this reason, it is predicted that the results of the first trial sentence for four former and incumbent judges also depend on the extent to which the judge interprets the extent of abuse of authority.

The results of this first trial are expected to have a significant impact on the trials of former Supreme Court Chief Yang Seung-tae, former Supreme Court Justices Ko Young-han and Park Byung-dae, and former Deputy Chief Justice of the Court Administration Department, who are accused of collusion with them.
