The COVID-19 vaccine that the government has secured so far is 79 million people, including 785,000 AstraZeneca, who were first vaccinated.

The government’s plan is to form a social group immunity by November, but attention is focused on when the rest of the vaccines will be available and from whom.

The COVID-19 vaccine, which starts immediately after AstraZeneca, is a Pfizer product.

Through the international vaccine supply organization’COVAX’, 58,000 people enter and the vaccination starts tomorrow (27th).

55,000 people are employed in hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases, hospitals dedicated to bases, and life treatment centers.

In addition, the vaccines that the government has contracted to purchase so far are for 79 million people including Modena, Janssen and NovaVax products.

Starting with the additional amount of AstraZeneca supplied through’CoVax’, 500,000 more Pfizer vaccines will be supplied at the end of March, and all other products will be supplied within the second quarter.

A more specific timing and target of vaccination is still in the debate, but the government has set a goal to form a collective immunity by November after the first vaccination has been completed to 70% of the population by September.

There was also a diagnosis by EIU, an economic analysis agency in the UK, that widespread vaccinations would end only in the middle of next year, but the government adhered to the existing plan, saying that it would look at the grounds.
