The Corona 19 vaccine transferred to the distribution center yesterday (24th) will be transferred to medical institutions such as nursing hospitals and public health centers nationwide for five days from today.

The historic first vaccination begins tomorrow (26th) from 9am.

When will COVID-19 vaccine delivery start?

The first vaccine delivery will start at 5:30 a.m. a little later.

There are 6 vehicles departing at 5:30 am, and they will depart to 5 locations in Gyeongnam and 1 in Andong, Gyeongbuk.

And two will depart to the Gyeonggi area at 6:20 and another 6 to the Gyeonggi area at 6:30.

In the case of Jeju Island, the vaccine is being transferred by ship, and the ship from Mokpo Port is expected to arrive at Jeju Port around 6 am today.

Previously, the first vaccine shipments from the Andong factory yesterday were placed in a 5 ton truck for refrigerated transportation in a dedicated container and transferred to the Icheon distribution center under convoy of the military and police.

While on the move, the integrated control center checked the location and temperature of each transport vehicle and the temperature of the vaccine transport container in real time to ensure that there was no problem in maintaining low temperature distribution.

When the vaccine arrived at the distribution center, reclassification and packaging were completed for delivery to 1,909 nursing hospitals and health centers nationwide.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun said yesterday at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters for Corona Response held at the Gyeongbuk Provincial Office.

When does vaccination start?

The historic vaccination starts tomorrow at 9am.

Residents and workers under the age of 65 in nursing hospitals, nursing facilities, and rehabilitation facilities nationwide are eligible for this vaccine.

93.6% of these have already indicated their intention to vaccinate

Before getting the vaccine, you must see a doctor and record in detail your history of allergies to drugs, cosmetics, food, and other types of vaccinations.

Also, if you have a severe allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis, you should not receive the vaccination.

If you suspect COVID-19 infection or your body temperature is 37.5℃ or higher, you should postpone vaccination.

The quarantine authorities plan to complete the vaccination of the vaccine introduced in the next month.

So far, the Ministry of Social Affairs has delivered it.
