When the vaccine arrives at the health center, it is transferred to a refrigerator dedicated to the vaccine and stored.

One day before the vaccination, public health centers have literally entered into’tight security’.

The Corona 19 vaccine has arrived at the public health center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

It is an amount that can fit 300 people, including residents and workers in 5 nursing homes in Gangnam-gu.

It was moved to a refrigerator dedicated to vaccines installed next to the health center’s medical staff.

This is a refrigerator with vaccines.

The refrigerator temperature is 4 degrees, and the AstraZeneca storage temperature is maintained between 2 and 8 degrees.

The vaccine is stored here for about 20 hours, then transferred to a nursing home the next morning to begin vaccination.

Police officers took turns patrolling around the health center, and the refrigerator was locked with a key.

If the temperature is out of the proper range during storage, or if someone tries to open the door, an immediate notification is sent to five workers.

Preparations are also in full swing for medical staff to visit nearby nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities.

An ice box with a thermometer was mobilized to maintain the temperature during transport, and protective clothing, medical gloves, and vaccination instructions were also prepared.

Vaccines are given in units of 10 to each nursing facility, a little less than the number of people who can be vaccinated so that nothing is left.

If the vaccination is not enough, you will be given a direct visit to the public health center.

However, some health centers require the vaccine to be stored for more than a week.

The health authorities plan to complete vaccinations in nursing hospitals where doctors work within five days and nursing facilities or rehabilitation facilities by the following month.
