The Incheon Western Police Department said that it applied for a warrant of arrest yesterday (9th) against child care teacher A in charge of special class in 30s and general child care teacher B in 20s on charges of child abuse.

The police explained that they applied for a warrant for arrest because the crime was serious and habitual, and there were concerns about recurrence.

It is said that the remaining four childcare teachers who were charged with the same charges were being investigated without custody.

The head of the daycare center is also being investigated by the police for neglecting child abuse.

Mr. A and others are accused of habitually abusing 10 students, including children with disabilities, for two months from last November.

The actual examination of the arrest warrant for two persons including Mr. A is scheduled to be held at the Incheon District Court on the 15th.

It is noteworthy what position they will make as they attend the trial.

At the time, a CCTV video containing the abuse situation was released, and you bought a consensus, right?

The CCTV footage released at the time included a nursery teacher pulling a handicapped child’s head and hitting it on the futon, and even putting a 13-month-old infant in a locker.

The police analyzed all CCTVs for two months in the daycare center and confirmed over 200 cases of abuse.

In particular, Mr. A confirmed the abuse of the inmates more than 100 times and Mr. B 40 times.

The police are also conducting forensic work to restore CCTVs that have been erased because they believe there may have been more abuse.

This daycare center is an integrated daycare center for children with disabilities that opened in March last year with the support of a large company from the Incheon Seo-gu Office.

At that time, Incheon Seo-gu Office held the opening ceremony to provide high-quality public childcare and publicized it extensively.

As it is a public and private facility with special infant teachers, it was especially popular with parents of children with disabilities.

Parents believed and entrusted their children, but in reality, all six nursery teachers were being abused regularly.

Incheon Seo-gu Office has suspended six childcare teachers for two years.

The head of the daycare center is also scheduled to be fired after completing the handover work by the end of February.
