On the way home from work, there was an accident where the bus slipped and blocked the road, and the following cars were trapped in the ice.

Dozens of vehicles were trapped on the road overnight, and the driver, who couldn’t survive the cold, left the car.

At night, drivers who couldn’t stand the cold left their cars when the accident at the Galma Tunnel in front of the road became unstable.

[화물차 운전자 : 저희 팀원들이 오는데, 차가 못 간다고 해서 차를 두고 왔어요. 성남에서 오는 데 4시간 걸렸어요.]

Around 7 o’clock in the evening when a lot of snow fell, a bus slipped and blocked the two-lane road as it exited the tunnel.

The cars that followed were trapped in a one-way tunnel.

At around 1 am, a tow truck that was approaching pulled the bus out, but it took some time to clear the snow and clear the traffic, and traffic was resumed until 3-4 am.

However, the identity that was resolved was only briefly.

It is 500m in front of the tunnel. As the day comes, the uphill road turns into an icy road, and the congestion continues to the back.

Around lunchtime, some of the drivers came to find the car they left, but it took a long time to get the wheels out.

Even in the Yeosu tunnel, 5 km away, drivers were trapped on the way home from work overnight.

Cars stopped on the slippery snowy road, unable to climb uphill in front of the tunnel.

[성남시 재난안전과 관계자 : 올라가지 못하고 헛바퀴만 돌고 있는 거예요. 두 시간 만에 8~9cm 가 내려 버리니까 제설 작업을 할 수가 없어요.]

It was not easy to access the snow removal vehicle, so snow removal was not carried out until 1 am.

Citizens who ran out of oil and got cold all night were only able to leave work after the morning sun rose.
