Middle school students in a video of assaulting an old man on the Uijeongbu light railroad in Gyeonggi-do were investigated by the police.

It is known that he admitted to the charges, but since he is a 13-year-old minor, criminal penalties are not possible.

He sits in the seat of the elderly without a mask, and when he is pointed out, he threatens with abusive words and fists.

The parties to these controversial videos spreading online were investigated by the police.

It is reported that they are freshmen of middle school in the Uijeongbu area and have admitted their charges.

A woman in her 70s, who was strangled and fell to the floor, was investigated as a victim, and it was reported that she wanted punishment from the perpetrator.

However, punishment for the perpetrator is impossible.

This is because all the perpetrators are 13 years old, and they are underages between 10 and 14 years old.

Instead of taking responsibility for their crimes, they are expected to be sent to the juvenile department of the court for protection.

However, there are many public opinions that are furious about the behavior of students who avoid punishment just because they are young and the law doesn’t care.

While voices urged the system to be improved, the government also announced a policy to lower the age standard for boys from 14 to 13 years old.

However, there seems to be a need for careful discussion as some argue that severe punishment for minors is not the best.
