Nowadays, the day is far and the animal abuse case is controversial.

Recently, a video of cruel killing or abuse of animals was shared on social media chat rooms, and the police began an investigation.

The Cheong Wa Dae petition for punishment for those who participated in the chat room has obtained the consent of more than 180,000 people within four days of being posted.

A cat is trapped in a cage.

As I struggled, I heard laughter.

This is a video uploaded to the Kakao Talk open chat room where you can chat with people you don’t know.

From dying cats bleeding to raccoons that were brutally damaged.

People who participated in the chat room freely shared the screens of cruelly killing or abusing animals, and exchanged words that were hard to put in their mouths.

It was considered lightly because it was an animal, but after being subject to investigation by accusations from animal protection organizations, the Blue House petition, which received a lot of consent in an instant, led to a lot of public opinion.

At the end of last month, a series of animal cruelty cases took place, and the same thing was still happening.

Those who do things are most responsible, but lukewarm investigations and weak punishment are also a problem.

Animal protection groups in Korea are stressing that as cruelty to animals can lead to violent crime, Korea should collect data on animal abusers like the United States.

In fact, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, the FBI, has been collecting and publishing data on animal abusers since January 1, 2016, based on research results on the link between animal abuse and violent crime.
