The police, investigating the allegations of real estate speculation, launched a simultaneous seizure search today (15th).

We have obtained data from public officials and city councilors who were involved in allegations of speculation in Siheung, Gwangmyeong, and Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.

Investigators carrying two blue boxes come out of the Siheung City Council building.

The police confiscated and searched the office of Rep. Bok-hee Lee in Siheung City, where speculation suspicions arose.

The South Gyeonggi Police Agency sent 24 investigators to five locations, including the offices and homes of Representative Lee and Gwangmyeong City 6th grade civil servant A.

It is the first time that LH employees are suspicious of speculation and the police have initiated a forced investigation of city council members and local government officials.

Earlier, a civic group accused Congressman Lee of speculation, claiming that he bought land in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, the planned third new city in the name of his daughter, and raised it to a building.

They claim that they knew the development information in advance and made so-called’discussion’.

Mr. A, from Gwangmyeong City Hall, who was accused with him, bought land with his family last summer, and is also suspicious of altering illegal traits that cut mountains in order to receive compensation.

At the same time, the Gyeonggibuk-do Office confiscated and searched the home and office of a public official in Pocheon City.

Mr. B, who was in charge of attracting urban railroads, is accused of buying land near the planned train station by making billions of loans.

As the investigation, which started with allegations of speculation by LH employees, spreads to the entire real estate corruption of public officials, only a hundred people are being investigated by the Joint Special Investigation Headquarters.

While the real estate speculation investigation team has been expanded to 18 provincial and provincial police offices nationwide, the Seoul Police Agency has recently created a dedicated team of 80 people to collect intelligence.

The police, who also started operating the reporting center, requested that public officials actively report on speculation using internal information.
