As speculation suspicions continued, more and more inquiries about urgent sale of land in the new city’s planned site increased.
Conversely, in the outskirts of the new city, speculative forces are rushing to encourage landlords to trade in loan names.

It is a place where the so-called real estate hitters are attracted to the price of the land due to the anticipation of private development.
Residents say they have been bored with proposals for borrowing deals from outsiders recently.
[부근 주민 A 씨 : 안 보이던 사람이 왔다 갔다 하는데, 간간이 들리는 얘기로는 매매했다는 사람도 있고 그렇긴 해요.]
Earlier this month, a woman from the province came to see the land to buy with several acquaintances.
[부근 주민 B 씨 : 27명 인원이 들어보니까 대전사람만이 아니야. 성남 사람도 있고 일산 사람도 있고…. 970평(3,206㎡) 되는 것 같은데?]
I knew how to get the contact information, and I suffered from a phone call asking to sell the land and encouraging the split.
[부근 주민 B 씨 : 계속 전화와 부동산에서. 쪼개기를 해서 줄 테니까 팔라고. 연락 온 지는 4개월 됐어 (LH 터지기 직전이네요?) 네.]
In this way, while speculative forces are frustrated with buying farmland in the outskirts of the new city, the number of owners who are willing to release the land for development has increased.
[부동산 관계자 C 씨 : 혹시나 이 물건 내놔도 팔릴까요? 이런 적은 한 지지난 주 인가? 지금 내놓는다 한들 누가 사겠냐 혜택도 없는데 (이렇게 답하죠.)]
The real estate industry sees allegations of speculation by LH employees as unspoken officials trying to dispose of their land in a hurry.
[부동산 관계자 D 씨 : 급매물 나오면 이상하다는 거지. 100원짜리인데 70, 80원에 나온다든가? (거래는) 그 사람하고 친밀도가 많은 데 친밀도. 비밀에 부칠 때….]
The government’s joint special investigative headquarters is cooperating with related organizations such as the National Tax Service to check whether or not a loan is made.
As speculators move quickly, the investigation seems to need to be accelerated.
