In July of last year, the decision of the Human Rights Commission, which came 202 days after the late Mayor Park Won-soon, was accused of sexual harassment, settled a case of suspicion.

It is also bitter that the person who established the legal concept of sexual harassment was left as the perpetrator of sexual harassment.

Reporter Kang Jung-gyu looked back over the course of the past half year.

On July 8 of last year, Secretary A, the mayor of Seoul, filed a complaint with the police.

It was the beginning of’Park Won-soon sexual harassment suspicion’.

The next day, as Mayor Park’s disappearance report was filed, the incident floated to the surface.

Park Won-soon, a former women’s rights attorney politician, was found dead with sexual scandal behind.

The death of former Mayor Park left the investigation adrift.

In the meantime, secondary violence against the victims followed.

This is why the victim knocked on the door of the National Human Rights Commission on July 28th.

The five-month police investigation ended with only question marks.

On December 29th, due to the death of the suspect, it was said that it was impossible to find out the truth of the sexual harassment.

On January 14 over the year, a ruling was issued that first admitted to the harassment of former Mayor Park.

However, there was a limitation that it was the so-called’April case’ trial that took place earlier.

Therefore, this decision by the Human Rights Commission is meaningful in that it is an official announcement by a national agency that directly investigated the alleged harassment of Park Won-soon.

It is also a bitter history in which the person who established the legal concept of sexual harassment by acting as a defense for the’Seoul National University Assistant Case’ in 1993 became a sexual harassment perpetrator.
