The snow that fell from 2 hours ago in the Gwanghwamun area,

Accordingly, the heavy snow warning in effect in Seoul from 9 am was lifted at 11 am.

However, heavy snow warnings are still maintained in parts of the northern and southern regions of Gyeonggi Province.

The Meteorological Administration expects the temperature to drop sharply from now on.

By tomorrow morning, based on the Seoul area, the expected temperature will drop below -16 degrees Celsius, and the perceived temperature will drop below -20 degrees Celsius.

The snow may freeze during the day, and there is a risk that the way back home turns into ice.

Seoul City has issued the second stage of snow removal from 9 o’clock today and has been continuing the emergency work system.

Currently, CCTVs are used throughout the area to search for vulnerable areas of the road,

Snow removal agents are being sprayed on vulnerable roads such as alleyways and steep slopes.

In addition, so that there is no difficulty in performing the snow removal work on their own, snow removal agents and equipment are provided in snow removal boxes provided throughout the road so that residents can use them in advance.

Traffic is relatively smooth as snow falls after 9 am, the rush hour.
