So, it is argued that the level should be raised again, and YTN commissioned a public opinion poll to ask for public opinion.

On the 15th, just after the Lunar New Year holiday, the government eased social distancing.

The number of confirmed cases has increased since distance distancing has been eased.

The average of 460 people per day for the last week is a level that can be raised to 2.5 steps.

Some insist on rushing up the steps again.

YTN asked the people’s thoughts.

More than half of all respondents, 62.5%, said they needed to raise the distance again.

It was similar in most regions of the country, especially in the metropolitan area.

In Seoul, more than 6 out of 10 responded that the distance stage should be strengthened.

Gyeonggi and Incheon were also at a similar level.

64.3% agreed and 30.8% opposed.

There was no significant difference by age.

In their twenties, 70.6% agreed and 28.4% disagreeed, with the most favorable opinions.

Even in their 70s or older, there were much more opinions on step reinforcement.

The opinions of those in their 30s, 50s and 60s were similar.

However, the self-employed people thought differently.

More than half were opposed to raising the level.

On the 19th, the survey was conducted on 500 men and women aged 18 years or older across the country, wirelessly and wired, and the sample error is ±4.4% from the 95% confidence level.
