Yesterday, about 570 prisoners and employees were tested for the 7th corona19 at the Eastern Detention Center here.

Out of the six total tests that have occurred so far, except for the second total test, the results are likely to come out as early as the day after the test.

Just as more than 600 people were tested and 70 were confirmed at the last 6th full test, it is noteworthy whether double-digit confirmation will continue this time.

The number of confirmed cases related to the Seoul Eastern Detention Center so far is 1,180, including family and acquaintances.

Yesterday, three prisoners, who were classified as undecided in the last test, received a final positive test, and one employee of the Eastern Detention Center and one transporter to the Southern Prison were confirmed.

It is the second largest in history, surpassing 1,173 confirmed cases of Sarangjeil Church, which had a large-scale infection in August last year.

Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases at correctional facilities nationwide, including the eastern detention center, has reached the 1,200 range.

As confirmations continued in various places, the Ministry of Justice conducted a full inspection of 43 correctional facilities nationwide until yesterday.

It is said that 39,000 prisoners and 12,000 employees were tested negative.

There is a continuing trend that 70% of new cases of Corona 19 in Korea come from the metropolitan area.

As of 0 o’clock today, the number of confirmed cases in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon per day was counted as 421.

There have also been cases of group infections in everyday life spaces such as shopping centers and workplaces.

First of all, confirmation was continued in hospitals that are vulnerable to infection.

At a nursing facility in Guro-gu, Seoul, four more people were tested positive than yesterday, and the number of related infections increased to 229.

On the 3rd, an additional 10 people were confirmed at Suwon City Hospital, where the first confirmed person was confirmed.

In Incheon, 22 confirmed cases were confirmed at Michuhol-gu shopping center and Bupyeong-gu nursing home, which were tied to the same group infection case.

Among them, 8 were confirmed related to shopping centers and 14 were related to nursing homes.

Rectal infections are also increasing in scale.
