The Ministry of Justice said that it will conduct a sixth full-time inspection today on more than 600 employees and prisoners of Dongbu detention center who have been negative until the fifth inspection.

So far, as all three-digit confirmed cases have been confirmed in all tests,

It seems that not a few will be tested positive again this time.

However, after 300 people are confirmed in the 2nd examination, the number of confirmed patients is gradually decreasing every time a full examination is performed, so it is possible that a double-digit confirmed person may appear for the first time in this examination.

Vice Minister of Justice Lee Yong-gu also visited the site at 7 o’clock this morning to check the status of the response and check the preparation for full inspection and the treatment of prisoners.

The results of the 6th total inspection conducted today will be released as early as tomorrow.

In the meantime, group infections originating from the eastern detention center rarely subside.

Up to now, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to Dongbu Detention Center is 1,090.

Six prisoners who did not have the results of the 5th total test were also tested positive, and one more prisoner who was confirmed confirmed four days after being released on the 26th of last month was added.

Yes, first, a new case of group infection occurred at a local children’s center in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.

On the 31st of last month, a woman in her twenties who used this facility was first confirmed.

As a result of the epidemiological investigation, natural ventilation through the window was well done, but it seems that the infection spread as some officials stayed at the facility from the 24th to the 27th of last month and had a refreshment meeting.

Among the confirmed cases here, a facility that provides care to middle and high school students, it was found that one middle school student was also included.

The quarantine authorities have closed the facility and are conducting diagnostic tests on contacts.

In nursing hospitals that are vulnerable to infection, group infections are continuing.

A total of 49 people were confirmed at a nursing hospital in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.

17 workers and 28 inmates were confirmed, and their family members were also infected.

Incheon city plans to quarantine hospitals in the same group and move confirmed patients to nearby hospitals in turn.

Four additional people were confirmed at the nursing hospital in Guro-gu, Seoul, where the outbreak has already occurred.

The cumulative confirmed case is 210.

As such, nursing hospitals and nursing facilities with the elderly often lead to death after confirmation, so the quarantine authorities emphasized preemptive quarantine management, asking for faithful implementation of the government’s emergency medical response plan.
