In addition to the metropolitan areas such as Siheung, Gwangmyeong, and Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, the police launched forced investigations in Busan.

First of all, the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency began a seizure search for Siheung City Council in Gyeonggi Province and Gwangmyeong City Hall from 10 am.

It started a forced investigation against Siheung city councilors and Gwangmyeong city officials, where speculation suspicions arose.

24 investigators were mobilized, and the residences of the suspects were also included in the subject of seizure and search.

Earlier, the bar exam preparation group filed a complaint with the police saying that the city council member and their children were trying to make profits from speculation by buying the land in Gwarim-dong, Siheung, a new city development site.

In addition, Gwangmyeong city officials accused him of buying the land of the new city’s planned site under joint name with his family.

The Northern Gyeonggi Police Agency has also launched a search for seizure over allegations of real estate speculation by public officials.

Offices and residences of Pocheon City Hall officials who are suspected of speculation have been seized and searched from 10:00 am.

The officials are suspected of speculation by borrowing billions of won to buy land and buildings near the planned train station.

In Busan this morning, the police began a search for seizure of the Busan Metropolitan City Corporation.

This was to secure documents related to allegations of land dumping by a former employee who was in charge of site bidding.

In Sejong, three government officials from Sejong City Hall who are suspected of speculation on the planned national industrial complex have been converted into suspects and are subjected to police investigation.

In this way, the police are conducting all-round investigations, while investigations and internal investigations are underway on LH employees, the starting point of allegations of real estate speculation.

Previously, the police conducted a seizure and search on 13 LH employees who were suspicious of civic groups such as Minbyun and the Participation Solidarity on the 9th.

Major reports include public officials or employees of public institutions using internal information, real estate speculation, and real estate market disruption.
