The death toll has increased by 20 to 962 so far, and the number of severely ill patients has decreased by 6 to 355.

The quarantine authorities believe that the third outbreak, which started in winter, is being prevented by expanding preemptive inspections and strengthening distance.

However, he added that it is too early to see a definite decline considering the decrease in the inspection volume on holidays and weekends.

Yes, the main contents are the management of workers, the improvement of the cohort isolation method, and the same group.

As a result of analyzing the case of group infection in nursing hospitals, the script said that it was confirmed that the infection started mainly through workers.

Therefore, it was decided to shorten the gene amplification and PCR test cycles for workers in nursing hospitals nationwide from the current 2 weeks to 1 week.

Last year, workers in nursing hospitals in the metropolitan area were asked to be tested every week, but the inspection cycle in non-capital areas was every other week.

In addition, workers who have visited high-risk groups and high-risk areas must be confirmed negative in the rapid antigen test before starting work.

The critical script diagnosed that infection control was insufficient during cohort quarantine.

When a group infection occurs, an emergency on-site response team will be dispatched immediately and the space will be thoroughly separated by type, such as confirmed, close contact, and non-contact.
