As of 0 o’clock, there are 370 new confirmed cases per day.

Yesterday, there were 451 new infected patients at this time, so about 80 people were down, compared to that of yesterday, by about a hundred.

However, the cumulative number of patients now exceeds 80,000 to 80,131.

By region, there are still a large number of 257 patients in the metropolitan area.

Seoul 126, Seoul 122, Gyeonggi 110, Incheon 25.

Outside the metropolitan area, there were 33 in Busan, 14 in Gwangju, 14 in Daegu, and 11 in Chungnam.

The number of foreign inflows was 19, down from yesterday.

The death toll increased by 11 to 1,459.

In addition, the number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 11, and 413 people were released from quarantine after treatment.

However, rather than seeing the current situation as stable, the government is concerned about the possibility of a so-called third pandemic in March.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun emphasized this point a while ago at the start of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters meeting.

Prime Minister Chung mentioned that the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 80,000, and in a frustrating congestion of around 400 people a day.

He said he was still anxious about the spread of the mutant virus in Korea.

Prime Minister Chung said that’there is only one out of four people who want to go to their hometown during the Lunar New Year holiday, but the accommodation facilities in major tourist sites are already full.’

He asked for ‘observance of the rules of refraining from moving and keeping distance during the Lunar New Year holidays.’

Prime Minister Jung emphasized that the expectation for these treatments and vaccinations is difficult not to loosen our alertness to quarantine, saying, “Today, it will be decided whether or not to approve the domestic No. 1 Corona 19 antibody treatment.”
