As of 0 o’clock today, there are 416 new patients with Corona 19 in Korea.

It was 2 people less than the previous day, but on the second day it is 400 people.

In particular, if the number of tests on weekends decreased, the number of confirmed cases decreased, but there were 400 people similar to those on weekdays, and the quarantine authorities are watching the trend.

In terms of infection route, 399 people were outbreaks in Korea and 17 people were inflows from overseas.

By region, 323 people were infected in the metropolitan area alone, including 127 people in Seoul, 169 people in Gyeonggi, and 27 people in Incheon.

Of these, 59 patients were tested positive at the temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.

In regions other than the metropolitan area, Gyeongbuk has 11, Gangwon has 10, and Daegu and Chungbuk have 8 each.

The number of people who died from Corona 19 increased by 2, and the number of severely ill patients decreased by 2 to 134.

Reports of suspected adverse reactions after vaccination increased by 806 a day, accumulating 3,689 cases.

Among the adverse reactions, there was 1 death, 2 severe suspected cases such as convulsions, 9 suspected anaphylaxis, and minor cases such as headache, fever, and vomiting.

In particular, the number of deaths reported after vaccination has increased to 8, and an investigation by the quarantine authorities is underway.

You said the first damage investigation group meeting was held after vaccination started?

Yes, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) held a private damage investigation group meeting today and reviewed cases of severe adverse reactions reported for about a week from the 26th of last month.

In particular, 8 deaths were reported by 0 o’clock today, and it is expected that we will focus on the causality between death and vaccination.

The health authorities have conducted epidemiological investigations based on basic investigations with local governments, and plan to announce a provisional conclusion tomorrow after reviewing the damage investigation team today.

In addition, we have decided to hold a meeting of the damage investigation group once a week, and review the cases of serious adverse reactions reported for one week, and disclose the results transparently.
