YTN reports confirmed that nursery teachers, who are accused of routinely abusing 10 students, including children with disabilities, sent handwritten apology letters to their parents.
Parents angered that teachers who had never beaten their children weren’t sincere, saying they sent an apology only after the police investigation began.

After the CCTV analysis, the police called the six nursery teachers at Incheon daycare centers to see if the person in the video was correct.
After completing the basic investigation, teachers wrote handwritten apology letters to parents of affected children.
He wrote that he was amazed at how he saw himself through CCTV and that he sincerely apologizes to the child and family.
Another teacher admitted and reflected on the wrong behavior in the letter, and appealed to meet in person and apologize.
However, parents are even more upset regardless of the apology.
He said he was sorry, but there was no explanation for what he did wrong or why he did so, and he said that sending an apology only after the investigation started is not showing authenticity.

Earlier, at the end of last month, after a mother reported abuse, another mother with a disability became anxious when contacting the daycare center, the teacher denied the abuse.
[피해 아동 학부모 : 선생님께서는 00이를 그렇게 상처 줄 만한 행동이나 그런 거 하지 않으셨잖아요.]
[보육교사 A 씨 : 제가 00이를 얼마나 예뻐했는데요, 어머니. 저희 선생님들도 아이들한테 손을 대는 선생님들이 아니고, 저희도 같이 있었고….]
However, the continuing abuse situation was intact in CCTV, and it became difficult for childcare teachers to deny the charges.

It is reported that all six child care teachers accused of child abuse and the head of the daycare center had appointed a lawyer before a full-scale police summons investigation.
