Police have applied for an arrest warrant for Kim Mo, the suspect in the murder of three mothers and daughters in Nowon in Seoul.

The police have secured the situation where Mr. Kim stalked his eldest daughter among the three mothers and daughters who died, and are investigating the motives of the crime by injecting a profiler.

The police secured a statement that the eldest daughter, A, had been stalked by the suspect, Kim Mo, from last January in the process of investigating the neighbors of the three mothers and daughters who died.

When Mr. A stopped contacting him because he felt burdened by Mr. Kim, who was abnormally obsessed with him, stalking began.

The police are checking the situation of stalking by securing the contents of the messenger sent to Mr. A from the confiscated Mr. Kim’s mobile phone.

In particular, based on Kim’s actions on the day of the crime and the fact that his mother and younger brother were also cruelly killed, the possibility of a planned crime is weighed on.

A police official explained that Kim committed self-harm immediately after the crime, but there was no big problem with being investigated.

The police, who investigated the motives of the crime by using a criminal psychoanalyst and a profiler, applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. Kim.

In order to confirm the mental health history, we also decided to request a data inquiry to a related agency.

The police are expected to conduct an on-site inspection when a warrant is issued for Mr. Kim.

Depending on the results of the Personal Information Disclosure Committee, there is a possibility that Mr. Kim’s face will be disclosed.
