Yes, it’s been more than 5 hours since the fire started.

Smoke is still emanating from the building.

Now, firefighters are entering the building to put out the remaining fires.

It is difficult to enter the interior due to the smoke in the second floor shopping area.

However, the fire is blocked from getting bigger.

So far, 31 people in total have drank smoke, and 15 of them have been found to have been transferred to the hospital.

However, as the evolution work is not finished yet, I think we need to watch a little more.

The fire started at around 4:30 pm in the residential and commercial building behind me.

Fire authorities believe the fire started at a Chinese restaurant on the ground floor.

When the fire broke out, people in the supermarket and shopping district on the first basement floor evacuated immediately.

There are about 360 households in all 4 buildings from the 3rd to the 18th floor.

The fire authorities evacuated the lower floors first, and then moved the higher floors to a safe place in turn.

Fire helicopters and search teams were also mobilized.

Namyangju City Hall has set up six shelters, including an auditorium at a nearby middle school.

The fire department has issued a second phase of response, mobilizing all equipment and personnel from nearby fire departments.

Currently, more than 400 people, including firefighting and police, are putting out the fire.
