There were 62 people a day, again exceeding 1,000.

There were 1,004 domestic occurrences and 25 foreign inflows.

There are still many infected people in the metropolitan area.

Seoul 358, Gyeonggi 271, and Incheon 63, with only 700 new patients in the metropolitan area.

In the non-metropolitan area, new patients were confirmed in all 17 provinces nationwide, including 55 in Busan, 43 in Daegu and Ulsan, and 34 in Gyeongnam.

Of the 25 confirmed overseas inflows, 4 were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

There were 17 additional deaths, and the cumulative death toll was 917.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders also increased by 10 to 354.

In order to block the recent epidemic of the COVID-19 mutant virus, the government has made it mandatory for all foreigners to submit negative PCR confirmations?

From now on, all foreigners entering Korea must submit a negative PCR confirmation.

It is applied from the arrival at the airport on the 8th and from the boarding on the 15th at the port.

Foreigners who have to submit a confirmation issued within 72 hours from the departure date from abroad and whose voice confirmation does not meet the eligibility criteria will not be permitted to enter the country.

This is due to the spread of the mutant virus from the UK and South Africa to other countries.

In Korea, mutant viruses have been confirmed in 5 people arriving from the UK so far.
