Police are said to be looking into the sources of the funds that LH employees mobilized to purchase the land, in particular.

Of the 10 billion won in transaction, close to 6 billion won is a bank loan, so there is a suspicion that they would have made such an unreasonable investment after obtaining information about the new city.

In addition, it was revealed that 13 LH employees purchased the land in Gwangmyeong and Siheung one after another at a time lag, and they are also investigating their affiliation and communication details at the time.

Based on extensive investigations, the police are focused on confirming allegations that they used secrets obtained during their work to speculate.

Earlier, the police formed the’Special Investigations for Real Estate Speculation Instructors’ to investigate this case.

A dedicated team was formed around the planned area of ​​the 3rd new city, and a large number of investigative personnel were invested in obtaining information on the use of internal information of public officials.

In particular, the case of LH speculation, which is being investigated by the South Gyeonggi Police Agency, was designated by the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency as an intensive command case and decided to oversee the entire investigation process.
