Korea Land and Housing Corporation, LH employees’ total investigation on allegations of speculation on the land in Siheung Gwangmyeong will be expanded to the entire 3rd new city.

The government has launched a joint investigation team today, and after promptly investigating, it is a policy to severely punish the people involved.

A joint government investigation team that will investigate allegations of collective land dumping by LH employees is led by the Prime Minister’s Office.

It’s been a day since President Moon Jae-in ordered a thorough investigation into the land transactions of new town officials and families for the entire third new town yesterday.

The range of total investigation is also greatly increased.

In addition to Siheung, Gwangmyeong, there are six new cities including Wangsuk in Namyangju, Gyosan in Hanam, Gyeyang in Incheon, Changneung in Goyang, and Captain Bucheon.

For this reason, it is expected that not only related public institutions such as LH, the Ministry of Land, and the Gyeonggi Development Corporation, but also six basic local governments, including Gyeonggi Province and Incheon City, will be subject to a thorough investigation.

Prior to the launch of the joint investigation team, the government is planning to determine the scope of the organizations and employees subject to full investigation among the relevant officials.

For a thorough investigation, a plan that does not limit the scope of the investigation to departments related to the development of new housing sites will also be discussed.

It includes all departments that have access to land development information.

A government official said Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun will explain the launch of the joint government investigation team and the plan for full investigation at today’s regular briefing.

The investigation team will investigate the allegations as quickly as possible, and then strict the person concerned.
