The police, who organized the real estate speculation special investigation team, said there were 16 cases nationwide that are conducting investigations or internal investigations.

Up to now, there are about 100 people who have been suspicious of speculation, including LH employees, public servants, and civilians, which is likely to increase further.

The number of suspected real estate speculation that the police are looking into is 16 cases nationwide.

Of these, there were 10 complaints or requests for investigation,

Six cases were investigated by the police by collecting intelligence.

There are more than a hundred people involved, including public officials and civilians.

This number included 20 LH employees suspected of speculation revealed by a joint government investigation.

The police explained that there is a high possibility that an additional seven LH employees who have been revealed will be officially arrested, just like the 13 people who were arrested earlier.

The police are also looking into cases where the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and LH employees made speculation in the name of family members or relatives.

Although the full investigation is out of the authority, it is a position to expand the scope of the investigation as much as possible as requested by the government joint investigation team.

The South Gyeonggi Police Agency, which confiscated and searched the homes of 13 employees suspected of speculation, two LH headquarters and business headquarters, is also speeding up the investigation.

Forensic analysis of confiscated phones and computers will be completed by the beginning of next week at the latest, and LH employees will be summoned and investigated.

We are also looking for maps on new town development from some of our employees’ homes to be related to speculation charges.
