You may have seen an advertisement that says,’Become the hands and feet of the self-catering.

This is an errand app that has become popular recently.

Believing in an advertisement saying that someone with a verified identity was sent, a helper was called through the app, but there was a case where a sex offender with an electronic anklet came and tried to commit a sexual assault.

The court held responsibility for the company’s hype.

Housewife A, who had to move a heavy bookcase and desk, called a helper with an errand app.

A man in his 40s with a sturdy physique came and after 40 minutes of work, he suddenly changed and tried to rape him with a weapon.

Thanks to the security guard who just pressed the doorbell, the perpetrator ran away and tried to stop, but the shock still doesn’t go away.

Mr. A was even more surprised when he learned the identity of the helper who was caught by the police.

He was a helper who was called by believing in the advertisement of an errand agency that only hired people with verified identity, but he was an ex-convict who was released after serving 15 years after committing two sexual assaults.

He was also wearing an electronic anklet.

Mr. A filed a lawsuit for damages against the company, and the Appeals Tribunal ruled to ask the company for alimony of 10 million won.

Unlike the first trial, which said that the company was not responsible, it is the judgment of the judiciary that it was a false or exaggerated advertisement that advertised that it was safe by hiring a helper with only phone number verification and ID registration.

However, I thought that the company has no responsibility to manage and supervise the helpers because it is the role that connects the helpers and users.
