Myanmar residents in Korea are continuing desperate protests everywhere, appealing for interest to the Koreans who suffered from the Gwangju Uprising.

The voices of condemning the military government in Myanmar and supporting the protesters are growing in the country as well.

In front of the Myanmar Embassy in Hannam-dong, Seoul.

Parliamentarians at an interview with the Myanmar people raise their three fingers over their shoulders.

This gesture is meant to condemn the Myanmar military for causing the coup.

“Spring in Myanmar! Long live democracy in Myanmar!

No more innocent deaths, raising their voices to stop cracking down on protesters and follow the will of the Myanmarians for democracy.

The bigger problem is that Myanmar citizens, like Gwangju in May 1980, are now isolated. It’s a terribly lonely fight. Help is very desperate.]

Myanmarians asked the embassy several times to meet, but the only thing that came back was rejection.

The reality is that the embassy silently responds to the demand to acknowledge the democratic government.

The only thing Myanmarians outside of the country can do is inform the atrocities of the military and ask for solidarity from the international community.

To this end, a rally is held in front of the military officers of Myanmar, representing the military, and one-man protests are continuing.

There are also people who quit working factories and come up to Seoul to work in Myanmar democratic organizations.

I am afraid that my family in my hometown will be harmed for protesting abroad, but I cannot stay still.

International students from Yangon, the capital of Myanmar, where gunfire never stops, burns their hearts whenever they lose contact with their families.

I appeal to the need for more interest from Koreans who have followed a similar history.

Myanmar residents plan to continue protests by demanding that the Korean government and the National Assembly recognize the CRPH, a representative committee of the federal parliament elected through the general election, not as a military branch.
