There have been many places where there has been thick fog since morning, but there are still places where visibility is less than 200m?

According to the Meteorological Administration, there are places with thick fog around the central west coast.
In particular, in the case of the Incheon area, the visibility was only 80m as of 11 am.
Earlier, around 10 am, there were many places in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong area, and some areas inland in Gangwon, where the visibility distance was less than 200m due to fog.
However, due to the influence of sea fog from the west sea, thick fog is expected to continue until around 1 pm on the central west coast.
There may be sections where the visibility distance is very short from Seohae Bridge, Yeongjong Bridge, and Incheon Bridge, so those who pass by here should be careful of safety.
Things are getting better now, but the heavy fog has hindered some flight operations.
Earlier, at Incheon Airport, five flights from overseas were unable to get off due to fog and landed at Gimpo Airport, Cheongju, and Jeju airports.
At Incheon Airport, the second phase of low-visibility operation is in effect from this dawn.
This action is taken if the runway visibility is less than 550m.
The airport explained that there is no disruption to the current flight operation, but the low-visibility warning has not yet been fully dismissed due to the low clouds.
The sea road conditions were also affected by heavy fog and bad weather, and the operation of passenger ships between Incheon and nearby islands was controlled.
As the current weather conditions improve, some routes are known to be considering reopening operations.
The Incheon Port Operation Management Center advised,’For some routes, passengers should contact the shipping company first as it may resume operation of passenger ships when the fog clears.
So far, the Ministry of Social Affairs has delivered it.
