The labor union of Hanjin Express went on strike indefinitely.

The agency said it was refusing to talk after unfairly dismissing the drivers who requested the use of sorting personnel, and that they would refuse delivery until the dismissal was withdrawn.

Hanjin Express said it would come up with a response plan.

In front of Hanjin Express Logistics Terminal in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.

About 100 courier drivers held a general strike resolution contest.

Since 8 am, more than 280 courier drivers who have joined the union have stopped shipping.

There are 8,500 Hanjin courier drivers all over the country.

The number of union members is not as high as 3.3% of this, but some distribution centers have been disrupted.

This place where I am listed is a place with a high proportion of union members, with about 80 out of 110 Hanjin courier drivers.

Therefore, only about 30 other non-union workers are doing the courier work, and the quantity to be delivered is piled up.

75% of the daily shipments are out of stock at this center.

The reason for the general strike is unfair dismissal.

The union insisted that a dealership in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, unilaterally fired four members who had asked for classification personnel, and refused to even talk.

The policy is to continue the strike until the dismissal is withdrawn, claiming that this is a violation of the agreement of the social consensus organization not to terminate the unilateral contract.

On the other hand, the agency countered that the request for an individual interview was not accepted by the union members, so the contract could not be renewed.

Hanjin Courier said that the dismissal issue is not at the headquarters level, but is a conflict between the agency manager and the courier driver.

Not only Hanjin Express, but all 11 members of the Changnyeong branch of CJ Logistics went on strike, saying that the management has terminated the contract of two members one after another since last December.

At the same time, he emphasized that if the management does not solve the problem, all 1,100 members from the Gyeongnam region, Daegu, Ulsan, and Yeongnam region will go on strike together from the 25th.
