Group infections in multi-use facilities have slowed due to strong social distancing, but infections centered on nursing care, religion, and correctional facilities are still not caught.

While the government has decided to allow some face-to-face religious activities, it is expected that the key will be whether or not to reliably block group infections via these high-risk facilities.

This is the current status of major outbreaks of group infections last month.

Group infections through multi-use facilities such as indoor sports facilities, academies, and public baths decreased from the previous month.

Nursing hospitals, correctional facilities, and religious group infections have risen rapidly.

In particular, there are many people who have not been tested even after visiting places where group infections have occurred, such as the BTJ Nations Center or Jinju Prayer Center, and spreading to local communities continues.

As the government banned official religious activities such as regular worship, it seems that quarantine blind spots such as small groups are occurring.

Under the premise that quarantine regulations, such as wearing a mask, are observed, religious activities are allowed face-to-face by 10% in the metropolitan area and 20% in the non-metropolitan area.

Instead, meetings and meals such as Bible study and district worship were still prohibited, and inspections of prayer centers and training centers were also decided to be strengthened.

The government also decided to conduct PCR tests twice a week for workers in nursing hospitals, and once a week for correctional facilities staff, and restrict external activities.

However, with the trend of spreading in high-risk facilities until recently, some on-site worship services are scheduled to resume sooner or later.
