Police investigating allegations of speculation by public officials have applied for an arrest warrant for an incumbent LH employee for the first time.

It was found that there were more people who started speculation before’CEO Kang’, who was known as the key suspect, and gave development information.

Police have applied for an arrest warrant for the first time for an incumbent LH employee.

It has been 32 days since Minbyun and the Participation Solidarity accused former and current LH employees of allegations of speculation.

On the 2nd, the real estate speculation special investigation team of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency announced on the 2nd that it had applied for arrest warrants for both LH employee A and acquaintances.

The party that was previously cited as the core of allegations of speculation by LH employees is the so-called’President Kang’ who worked for the LH Gwacheon and Uiwang Business Units.

However, the police said that Mr. A was different from Mr. Kang.

It was found that Mr. A bought the land in Noonsa-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, from March 2017, half a year earlier than Mr. Kang.

Since then, by December 2018, it has purchased 22 parcels of land with 36 people.

Among those involved, three other LH employees and relatives are included, and the police believe that Mr. A was the leading dissemination of development information.

The scale of speculation is even greater than that of Kang, who bought 14 lots by 28 people.

Mr. A bought the land before an important decision regarding the development of the third new town was announced, and the police see this as evidence using inside information.

This is why the police chose Mr. A as the ‘1’ for the warrant application among LH employees.

There are 37 incumbent LH employees currently under police investigation, including Mr. A.

In the meantime, investigations involving public officials, another axis of the alleged speculation on the ground, are also continuing.

The South Gyeonggi Police Agency called the mother-in-law B to investigate the charges of lending her name to a former Gyeonggi-do executive and speculating on the planned site of the Yongin semiconductor cluster.

The five members of the National Assembly who were accused of speculation were said to have completed the investigation of the accusers last week and that they have entered into confirmation work based on the investigation.
