The government warned that the fourth outbreak could come at any time due to the increase in the amount of movement and the influx of mutations.

In preparation for the 4th epidemic, the government has decided to expand its inspection capacity to 500,000 cases a day and establish temporary screening inspection stations in non-metropolitan areas.

The number of new COVID-19 patients has been in the 400 units on the second day.

Because it was the weekend, the number of tests decreased by 20,000 compared to weekdays, but the number of new confirmed cases remained at a similar level.

The situation in the metropolitan area is particularly serious.

More than 8 out of 10 new cases in Korea are coming from the metropolitan area.

Nursing hospitals and meetings are the link.

Confirmation of foreign workers in the Dongducheon region, who entered the preemptive inspection, is also continuing.
