The government came up with special quarantine measures during the year-end and New Year holidays, and local governments at the sunrise spot also walked and locked all the tourist spots.

In some cases, reservations for train tickets were canceled due to repeated travel restrictions, but most trains bound for the East Coast were full.

On the last day of 2020, the people getting on the train to Busan, the seats were full, although they were seated one by one according to the guidelines for keeping distance.

All train seats for Pohang and Busan, where the seaside sunrise spots are located, were sold out from the morning, and tickets to cancel reservations for Gangneung were issued, but seats were sold out in the afternoon.

Previously, local governments, including Gangneung City, closed the beach and operated drones to crack down on crowds.

He even appealed to the sunrise tour not to come.

Nevertheless, Gangneung Station was crowded with tourists.

People are gathering little by little even in Jeongdongjin, which is closed.

Although we have limited room reservations to less than half, the property has very few rooms left.

Gangneung, Sokcho, and Jeju Island are planning to broadcast the sunrise live through YouTube, so they repeatedly appealed to see the sunrise at home and greet the New Year.
