The infection continues even after a month after the first confirmed person was released from the detention center.

The Ministry of Justice is planning to continue testing for Corona 19 until all are judged negative.

The full test is now the seventh.

The subjects of this test are about 570 prisoners and employees who were negatively judged in the 6th full test on the 5th and 3 days ago.

The last test also tested 600 people, but 69 prisoners were confirmed as confirmed, and the spread does not seem to ease.

To date, 1,156 people have been confirmed from the Eastern detention center, including employees and prisoners.

In the 2nd and 3rd thorough examinations conducted in December last year, up to 200 confirmed cases were found at a time, but the number of confirmed cases is decreasing as the total examination scale decreases.

The cumulative confirmation rate of existing prisoners exceeds 40%.

The number of confirmed cases in correctional facilities nationwide, including the eastern detention center, also reached 1,200.

In the meantime, yesterday, a man in his 70s, who was confirmed confirmed at the Eastern Detention Center, died after being transferred to a nearby hospital.

On the 25th of last month, after receiving a positive test and being released from sentence execution, he was quarantined in a life treatment center in a correctional facility, but his symptoms worsened and he died after being transferred to a hospital.

Accordingly, the number of prisoners who died of Corona 19 in correctional facilities nationwide increased to three.

The quarantine authorities are planning to conduct regular inspections of correctional facilities staff nationwide once a week starting today.

Here at the Eastern Detention Center in Seoul, all members have been tested negative and said that they will continue testing until the infection is over two weeks later.

More than 70% of new confirmed cases in Korea are coming from the metropolitan area.

With about 400 to 600 confirmed cases a day coming out of Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon, the number of confirmed cases in the metropolitan area this year exceeded 4,000 cumulatively.

Infection in everyday life continues.

In the history in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, an additional employee family was tested positive yesterday, and the number of confirmed cases increased to 11 people.

There are also cases of infection at the workplace.

On the 5th, a meat processing company in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, where the first confirmed person was confirmed, was investigating contacts and an additional 46 were tested positive.

Likewise, the number of cumulative confirmed cases increased to 12 as 7 workers and 4 families were additionally confirmed at the food service company in Osan.

At the elderly welfare facility in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, a worker and one family member each received positive tests, and the number of confirmed cases increased to 42.

Meanwhile, the quarantine authorities are also wary of the spread of infection in religious facilities.

In some religious facilities, when filming online worship services, it was reported that members of the group attended the worship service in addition to the number of people who were filming, and the religious facility-related hospitals also revealed that they found a case in which they held face-to-face worship without wearing masks.
