Previously, about 70 people were tested here yesterday, and a public health center official believes that there will be more than twice as many testers today.

15 more were confirmed overnight, and the number of foreigners in the Dongducheon area confirmed from the day (1st) increased to 96.

The newly added confirmed cases were 11 confirmed through preemptive inspection, 1 overseas inflow, and 3 contacts.

As the number of confirmed cases increased rapidly, Dongducheon City urgently built facilities capable of collecting Corona 19 specimens at the Dyeing Industrial Complex and Bosan Station.

There will also be a separate screening test center for foreign students in the health center.

The quarantine authorities are actively guiding the inspection through foreign communities and the industrial complex to quickly find confirmed cases.

However, 13 foreigners were confirmed in the preliminary inspection at the Cheongsan Industrial Complex in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, and an emergency took place.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor is planning to conduct a full-scale inspection over a month of 11,000 manufacturers with dormitories among workplaces with five or more foreign workers.

The health authorities are currently investigating 15 epidemiological investigators.
