The Ministry of Justice said it will conduct a sixth full-time inspection today for prisoners and employees of the Eastern Detention Center who have been negative until the fifth inspection.

Since all three-digit confirmed cases have been confirmed in all tests so far, not a few are expected to be tested positive this time.

However, after 300 people are confirmed in the 2nd examination, the number of confirmed patients is gradually decreasing every time a full examination is performed, so it is possible that a double-digit confirmed person may appear for the first time in this examination.

Vice Minister of Justice Lee Yong-gu also visited the site at 7 o’clock this morning to check the response status and inmates’ quarantine supplies, and check the preparation for the 6th total investigation.

Vice Minister Lee plans to visit the Eastern Detention Center on a daily basis for the time being until the situation subsides.

The results of the 6th total inspection conducted today will be released as early as tomorrow.

In the meantime, group infections originating from the eastern detention center rarely subside.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to Dongbu Detention Center announced by the Seoul Metropolitan Government a little while ago is 1,911 people nationwide.

Six prisoners who did not have the results of the 5th total test were also tested positive, and one more prisoner who was confirmed confirmed four days after being released on the 26th of last month was added.

This is close to half of all prisoners in Eastern detention centers before the outbreak.

Yes, first, the number of confirmed cases related to the local children’s center in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul has increased to 18.

On the 31st of last month, a woman in her twenties, who is a volunteer at the facility, was first confirmed, and then users were tested positive one after another.

As a result of the epidemiological investigation, natural ventilation through the window was well done, but it seems that the infection spread as some officials stayed at the facility from the 24th to the 27th of last month and had a refreshment meeting.

Among the confirmed cases here, a facility that provides care to middle and high school students, it was found that one middle school student was also included.

The quarantine authorities have closed the facility and are conducting diagnostic tests on more than 70 contacts.

In nursing hospitals that are vulnerable to infection, group infections are continuing.

Incheon city said that 55 people were confirmed in connection with a nursing hospital in Gyeyang-gu.

It explained that 18 workers and 32 residents were confirmed, and that 2 nursing home residents in the same building were also tested positive.

The city of Incheon is quarantining hospitals in the same group and moving confirmed patients to nearby hospitals in turn.

Four additional people were confirmed at the nursing hospital in Guro-gu, Seoul, where the outbreak has already occurred.

The cumulative confirmed case is 210.

As such, nursing hospitals and nursing facilities with the elderly often lead to death after confirmation, so the quarantine authorities emphasized preemptive quarantine management, asking for faithful implementation of the government’s emergency medical response plan.
