Asian monks residing in Korea have launched a collective response to condemn the murder of civilians by the military and police in Myanmar.
Korea, which had been through the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement, appealed to the people to join forces, saying that they would know the hearts of Myanmar people better than anyone else.

White chrysanthemums piled on top of the pavilion on the grounds of Jogyesa Temple in Seoul.
Each chrysanthemum symbolizes the Myanmarians who were sacrificed by the harsh repression of the military and police, and there are more than 200.
On the 49th day after the coup in Myanmar, foreign monks residing in Korea made a voice of solidarity together.
Monks from various Asian countries, including Nepal, Vietnam, and Mongolia, warned the military and police in Myanmar to stop killing innocent lives.

Myanmar activists wanted for nominations by the Myanmar military by giving donations to officials who participated in the protests against the military also voiced their voices.
