Seocho-gu, Seoul, is said to be testing for Corona 19 on 430,000 residents over the next two months.

It is the first day of inspection for residents, so it is not crowded.

Let’s connect the reporters who are at the inspection office. Reporter Jung Hyun-woo!

There are a total of 18 inspection offices newly established in each dong community center in Seocho-gu and nearby facilities.

At one time, there was a line in front of the inspection station when the news that the residents were being subjected to full inspection, but they were often empty.

As of today’s noon, the number of people who visited the temporary screening office in Seocho-gu was counted as 395.

In order to achieve the goal of thorough inspection of 430,000 residents in the next two months, about 7,000 people need to be inspected a day, but as it is the first day, there are not many citizens visiting.

The newly established laboratories are only available for saliva PCR testing, which analyzes the composition of saliva.

If you write down the presence or absence of symptoms in a list and deliver saliva in a container according to the instructions, the test is easily completed, so the burden of residents is less.

Although it is somewhat less accurate than the conventional method, it also has the advantage that it does not require a lot of medical staff’s touch.

In fact, there are only 5 people who operate the inspection station, and the time taken to undergo inspection per visitor is not long, so it seems that there is no big burden.

The ward office allowed not only local residents, but also other municipalities to be tested.

The plan is to prevent infection concerns by subjecting people with overlapping living areas, such as working in Seocho-gu, to be tested.

As infection spreads in various places in everyday life and the proportion of confirmed patients with unknown paths reaches 30%, each local government is also setting up inspection stations targeting ordinary citizens.

In the metropolitan area, 152 temporary screening tests have been installed so far, and out of 500,000 people who have been tested for more than two weeks, about 1,400 have been tested positive.

Likewise, temporary screening and inspection stations are increasing in non-metropolitan areas.

Busan City has now increased the number of temporary screening offices to five, and Gwangju City has also established one in the square in front of City Hall.

As the quarantine authorities have increased the operation of the inspection station by two more weeks, the work of finding quiet radio waves is expected to continue for some time.
