Pyeongtaek Pharae Hospital, which presented the entire hospital for the treatment of Corona 19, began to treat confirmed patients in earnest.

The government plans to designate additional hospitals such as these, and secure more than 500 beds dedicated to Corona 19 by next month.

Now, an ambulance to transport the confirmed patients is coming and going from time to time behind me.

Here at Bharae Hospital, medical treatment for confirmed patients began in earnest around 2 pm.

The confirmed patients who were staying in the nursing hospital because there are no beds are also arriving one after another.

This hospital is the first hospital in the metropolitan area to use the entire hospital for Corona 19 patients.

After removing 220 existing beds, all 140 beds, including 20 severely ill patients, were made exclusively for COVID-19.

It is expected to help solve the problem of shortage of hospital beds in the metropolitan area.

About 200 people, including general staff, are working in the hospital, and 6 specialists dispatched from the Korean Medical Association have also been reinforced.

In addition, there will be additional nurses who volunteered.

The participation of other hospitals is important as well as the philanthropy. What is the situation in other places?

With death cases in the air and the growing problem of bed shortages, other hospitals are putting out beds one after another, leading the way to the hospital.

First of all, Namyangju Hyundai Hospital plans to use a total of 119 beds, including 25 critically ill beds, for Corona 19 patients.

It will be available as early as the beginning of next month.

Advanced general hospitals are also participating one after another.

Soonchunhyang University’s Bucheon Hospital and Gachongil Hospital have prepared more beds than the government requested and converted into dedicated hospitals.

In the case of Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital, there are 20 beds in total, and full-fledged treatment will begin next Monday.

First of all, up to now, 8 private hospitals, including senior general hospitals, have been designated as dedicated hospitals and are operating 236 dedicated hospital beds.

The government plans to secure an additional 500 beds here by early next month.

In addition, three additional hospitals will be designated as dedicated corona 19 base hospitals to further increase the number of critically ill beds.
