Former President Park has been receiving outpatient treatment after undergoing shoulder surgery last year.

On the 18th, I also went to an external medical facility in a convoy vehicle.

However, the employee A, who accompanied him at this time, was confirmed as Corona 19 the next day.

Former President Park was immediately tested negative for Corona 19.

The route of infection with Mr. A has not been identified yet, but an epidemiological investigation is currently underway.

Separately, the epidemiological investigation into the outbreak of outbreaks in the eastern detention center in Seoul was caught up to some extent.

The quarantine authorities saw the first outbreak through detention center staff and then the second outbreak through new inmates separately.

In particular, in the second outbreak, the 8th floor with many new inmates and the incidence of undecided persons were high, and it was confirmed that the virus genetic similarity was high between new inmates and additional confirmed patients.

The fact that there are many points of contact between prisoners, such as overcrowded prison environments that exceed the capacity and shared living in detention centers, was cited as the reason for the continuation of the second epidemic.

The quarantine authorities have prepared guidelines for group response to correctional facilities since the 8th, and new prisoners are conducting preventive quarantine and pre-movement inspections for 14 days.

The Ministry of Justice also announced that it will do its best to prevent the influx and spread of Corona 19 by concentrating all its capabilities and to take medical measures for former President Park.
