The Constitutional Court cited some of the requests for provisional injunctions made by bar exam candidates against the Minister of Justice.

With the consensus opinion of all judges, it is improper to limit the examination of confirmed patients.

First, the Constitution found that the Ministry of Justice’s actions were excessive restrictions on basic rights.

Anyone could be exposed to the corona19 infectious disease at any time, and if they lose the opportunity to take a test, they feared that it would be an excessive restriction on their freedom of choice.

In addition, they pointed out that if they are classified as confirmed, they will be restricted from taking the test immediately, and they may rather hide their suspicious symptoms and take the test.

In addition, the Constitution has decided that self-quarantine who missed the pre-application period and high-risk persons who are classified as targets for transportation to medical institutions can take the test without any restrictions.

When the constitutional decision was made, the Ministry of Justice said that it respected the purpose of the decision, and that it would allow confirmed patients to take the test under separate supervision in an isolated location or hospital.

In addition, he stressed that it is understood that there are no confirmed or self-quarantine among test takers so far, and that the scheduled exam will proceed without disruption.

This year’s bar exam is scheduled to be held at 25 universities nationwide for five days until the 9th, with more than 3,500 people taking it.
