The first truck carrying the Corona 19 vaccine in Korea safely arrived at the Icheon vaccine distribution center.

Two days later (26th) ahead of the first vaccination, the preparation work is proceeding smoothly.

Reporter Park Hee-jae reports.

At 10:13 a.m., a 5-ton truck cautiously departs between the crowds on either side of the road.

It is a truck carrying 170,000 AstraZeneca vaccines, the first Corona 19 vaccine to be vaccinated in Korea.

The truck filled with the Corona 19 vaccine left safely at the production base in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

“Clap clap clap”

After two and a half hours of transportation, the vaccine distribution center in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do,

At 12:44 p.m., the door of the container containing the vaccine opened.

“I’ll start wearing it.”

The forklift lifted the box with the vaccine carefully out of the vehicle and finished receiving it into the warehouse.

The vaccine stored here will be packaged, stayed for about 17 hours, and sent to public health centers and nursing hospitals across the country.

Korea’s Corona 19 Vaccine No. 1, filled with the wishes of the whole people, took its first step in preparing for vaccination.
