The first COVID-19 vaccination in Korea will start at 9 am on this Friday.

The first vaccine to be vaccinated is AstraZeneca, and priority targets are residents and workers under the age of 65 in nursing hospitals and nursing facilities nationwide.

The first Corona 19 vaccine in Korea is AstraZeneca, and vaccination will start at 9 am this Friday.

The primary supply is 750,000 people.

It is for residents and workers under the age of 65 at nursing hospitals and nursing facilities nationwide.

So far, 93.6% of the 300,000 people in 5,000 places nationwide have agreed to vaccination.

AstraZeneca vaccine produced at the Andong plant by SK Bioscience, a domestic consignment company, is transferred to the distribution center in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do for five days from Wednesday.

Subsequently, they are transported to public health centers and nursing hospitals nationwide.

Pfizer’s vaccine, introduced through’CoVax Facility’, an international project for joint vaccine purchase, will arrive at Incheon International Airport on the 26th at 12:10 p.m.

With a total of 58,000 people, it is planned to be given priority to Corona 19 medical staff from the next day.

The quarantine authorities predicted that it would be possible to secure stable immunity if more than 70% of the population were vaccinated.
