The quarantine authorities recommend that you visit a nearby temporary inspection center if you feel uneasy before or after meeting with your family.

The Temporary Screening and Inspection Office here at Seoul Station opened from 9 am, about an hour ago.

Citizens’ visits continue to the point that they lined up before opening the door.

Even if there are no suspicious symptoms at the Temporary Screening Laboratory, anyone can undergo a diagnostic test anonymously if they feel anxious.

In the case of Seoul during the Lunar New Year holidays, temporary screening and inspection offices are operated at 46 places where crowds gather, such as Seoul Station, Yongsan Station, and Express Terminal Station, so that citizens can easily undergo inspection.

There are 130 locations nationwide.

The Temporary Screening and Inspection Office of Seoul Station is only open until 1 p.m. as it is a holiday.

Since the operating period and time of each temporary screening inspection station are different, it is recommended to search for a temporary screening inspection station near Naver Map or Kakao Map before going for the test.

The Temporary Screening and Inspection Office began operation on December 14 last year.

Until the 5th, over 1.8 million anonymous tests were conducted nationwide, and nearly 5,000 confirmed cases were detected early.

This is equivalent to 12% of new confirmed cases in the last 8 weeks.

The quarantine authorities evaluated this effect and decided to continue the operation of the temporary screening inspection station, which was scheduled to end on the 14th, during the second phase of keeping the distance only in the metropolitan area.

However, in order to quickly and efficiently manage when a confirmed person is found, starting on the 15th, it will switch to a real name test that collects the name, date of birth, and phone number rather than an anonymous test.

In addition to the temporary screening and testing centers, there are an average of 400 screening clinics installed in public health centers nationwide during the Lunar New Year holidays.

If you are classified as a close contact or have suspicious symptoms such as fever, it is recommended to visit a screening clinic.
