Can you tell us the current status of confirmed cases by region?

As of today’s 0 o’clock, there are 967 new cases.

Yesterday and yesterday, there were over a thousand for two days in a row, and it fell to three digits in three days.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases was 60,740, exceeding 60,000.

In terms of infection route, domestic outbreaks are 940, and foreign inflows are 27.

There are still many domestic outbreaks in the metropolitan area.

There were 365 in Seoul, 219 in Gyeonggi, and 59 in Incheon, with 643 new patients in the metropolitan area alone.

In the non-capital area, there were 72 in Busan, 36 in Gangwon, 35 in Ulsan, 32 in Daegu, and 22 in Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

Patients came out of 16 trials excluding Sejong.

Of the 27 confirmed overseas inflows, 13 were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The additional death toll is 21 and the cumulative death toll is 900.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders also increased by 12 to 344.

Yes, the government will announce a proposal to adjust social distancing due to Corona 19 on January 2nd, the day after tomorrow.

This is because special quarantine measures and current distancing measures for the year-end and New Year end on January 3rd.

The government said it is currently collecting opinions from ministries, local governments, and experts on measures to take measures for quarantine after January 4th.

The quarantine authorities explained that the current trend of patient outbreaks has been reversed, and there is still no indication of a decrease in the third outbreak.

However, it was evaluated that the current distancing measures have the effect of suppressing the occurrence of new confirmed cases.

Sohn Young-rae, head of the Strategic Planning Division, said that the number of patients was predicted to increase rapidly based on the infection situation and the reproductive index of infection, but in reality it was much slower.

In addition, in order to achieve the peak effect of normal distance distancing, it takes about 10 days to 2 weeks, but it has been a little over a week since the quarantine measures for the year-end and New Year were implemented
