[앵커]

The number of vaccinations exceeded 700,000 with the number of new patients with Corona 19 rising to 400 in one day.

In the meantime, there are concerns that only two out of three citizens will receive the Corona 19 vaccine, resulting in a disruption in the formation of collective immunity.

First of all, can you tell me the current status of vaccination today?

This is the current status of vaccination as of 0 o’clock today.

The number of new primary inoculations was 20,151, exceeding 700,000 cumulatively.

In terms of the total population in Korea, 1.36% completed the first vaccination.

The number of people who completed the second vaccination also increased by 615, to a cumulative 1,498.

In the midst of this, the results of an investigation that only 2 out of 3 citizens will get the vaccine were revealed

[기자]

This is the result of a survey of 1,000 adults aged 18 years and over nationwide on the 17th and 18th of the past 17th and 18th.

As a result of the survey, 67.8% of the respondents and more than 2 out of 3 respondents said they are willing to receive vaccinations.

12.9% said they would not receive the vaccination, and 19.1% said they did not know.

The government initially set a goal of completing the first vaccination for 70% of the people by September and forming’collective immunity’ by November.

There is a fear that some setbacks will occur in achieving the goal.

The most common reason for getting vaccinated was the prevention of infection in the family with 79.8% of the multiple responses, followed by the formation of group immunity in 67.2%.

Conversely, 85.8% of the reasons for not receiving vaccinations were most likely to have adverse reactions, followed by distrust of vaccine effectiveness (67.1%) and 35.8% of no vaccine options.
