The number of new corona19 confirmed cases hit 600 people for two consecutive days.

The government has passed the peak of the 3rd pandemic and judged it to be on a decline, but risk factors such as mutant viruses still remain, and the government’s primary goal of 4~500 people has not yet been reached.

As of today 0 o’clock, there are 641 new cases.

The number of people decreased by 33 from the previous day, keeping the number of 600 people on the second day, below 1,000 people for five days in a row, and three digits.

The number of confirmed cases peaked at 1,240 on the 25th of last month.

The government believes that measures to strengthen quarantine, such as strengthening social distancing and banning meetings with more than 5 people, have been effective and have recently entered a decline stage.

When looking at the route of infection, 596 people occurred in Korea and 45 people came from overseas.

Of these, 80 were tested positive at the temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.

The death toll increased by 19 more, and the cumulative death toll was 1,100.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders increased by 5 to 409.

By region, the number of domestic outbreaks was 180 in Seoul, 195 in Gyeonggi and 46 in Incheon, 421 in the metropolitan area alone.

In the non-capital area, there are 30 people in Chungbuk, 26 people in Chungnam, 23 people in Gyeongnam, and 20 people in Gyeongbuk.

Patients came out from 16 provinces nationwide except Sejong.

The government has proposed the first goal of reducing the size of confirmed cases to the level of 400-500 by the 17th, when the current distancing measures are over.
