The number of new corona19 patients in Korea continued to be infected with non-metropolitan areas, surpassing 500 in just a month.

With the government’s current social distancing and extending the ban on private gatherings with more than 5 people, there are concerns that the unstable situation will continue until next month.

As of 0 o’clock on the 27th, there were 505 new cases in total.

The number of new patients increased by 11 from the previous day, but it was only 36 days after 561 on the 19th of last month that the number of new patients reached 500.

Not only the metropolitan area, but also the non-metropolitan area, which is still serious, is the most confirmed in 57 days since the end of January.

Despite the high-intensity quarantine measures, the number of cases of infection has increased, and the government has now extended social distancing and the ban on private gatherings of more than five people nationwide for another two weeks.

The basic quarantine rules have also been increased from four to seven.

The problem is that the number of confirmed cases may increase further in April as there are many factors of quarantine insecurity.

This is because the re-election, Easter, and Ramadan are lined up with the warm weather, which increases viral activity. In fact, the recent infection reproductive index is about 1.03, so there is concern about the spread of the virus.

Starting next month, vaccinations for the general public starting with the elderly aged 75 or older are in full swing, and as of 0 o’clock, the number of new primary vaccinations has exceeded 790,000 people at 22,845.

In terms of the total population in Korea, 1.53% completed the 1st vaccination, and the cumulative 5,232 people also completed the 2nd vaccination.

A total of 149 cases were added to report adverse reactions after vaccination, including four death cases.

All those who died were given the AstraZeneca vaccine, but the causality of the vaccine has not been confirmed.
